Supporting Students

Smyth County Community Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for students of all ages to pursue further education after high school. Through our scholarship program, we help support students as they build their skills to be successful, caring citizens in our county.

Online application deadline for Changing Lives Through Healthcare Scholarship and Judy Taminger Scholarship has been extended to March 17, 2024.  
Our Louise Blevins-Leslie Girls Golf Scholarship online application deadline is April 1, 2024.

Linda Helton and Mike Robinson with the Smyth County Community Foundation presented a matching grant to Mayor David Helms and the Marion Town Council for their project to upgrade Ogburn Park.
